THE PURIST VILLAS AND SPA is a beautiful designer’s hideaway nestled in the green fertile hills of Ubud. It is a meeting point for individuals, for those who need to unwind in an inspiring setting and being pampered with great massages and delicious food. The chefs use the freshest of ingredients, locally produced and in season, whether your meal is served in your villa or in the restaurant. In its rural and tropical setting you can fully appreciate the tranquil peacefulness the Balinese are famous for. The beautiful surrounding rice paddy fields make the short walk to the centre of Ubud a scenic walk.

The secluded Purist compound includes a spa building used for the specialist Ayurvedic massages as well as a yoga and meditation deck. Guests can enjoy a variety of treatments, given by professional massage therapists, or visit classes with experienced yoga and meditation teachers. The construction and design of The Purist reflects the ancient Balinese Hindu belief embracing the importance of balance, purity of spirit and harmony, as well as a deep respect for the natural environment. The owners use an eclectic palette of materials, including recycled wood, authentic Indonesian artifacts, natural lava and lime stone and green river stones and succeeded in creating yet another home away from home, which has become their trademark signature. There is a total of 11 individual, small villas which each offer privacy and space to relax and unwind. Some of the houses have their own pool. Most consist of one bedroom, some two. Ask us for our recommendation which villa fits your individual needs.

Location

The Purist Villas & Spa is located behind a rustic Balinese village, where you can still experience all aspects of traditional rural life. You see the villagers farm and harvest and conducting their Hindu ceremonies of daily offerings, traditional dances and music. In this rural and tropical setting you can fully appreciate the tranquil peacefulness Bali is famous for. The short walk to the centre of Ubud leads through beautiful surrounding rice paddy fields.

Estate and facilities


	Joglo House - This beautiful loft-like space - a large antique Java house with a typical wood carved ceiling - is located opposite the reception. It is there for your convenience. In comfortable lounge sofas you can enjoy a drink and read about Indonesian art and architecture. Wireless Internet access and an Apple computer are at your disposal. Lunches and dinners can be served here for the moments you don’t feel like dining in the privacy of your own villa but still want to appreciate our chef’s sublimely appetizing meals.
	The Pool Café serves guests enjoying the shared pool refreshing drinks.
	Reception – A small team will assist you with any inquiries and organize individual trips and transportation if needed.
	Small spa offering a myriad of treatments based on the Ayurvedic principles and Balinese Hindus philosophy that all must be kept in balance and be in harmony. Ayurveda is believed to be the oldest healing therapy. It is a holistic science that is more than three thousand years old and focuses on health prevention, longevity and natural healing.
	Yoga. Experienced teachers offer group and private lessons for beginners and advanced students.

Price

Rental rates per night range from US$ 220 (smallest villa for two guests) to US$ 675 for our residence villas which consist of two bedrooms and are ideal for four to five guests.

Conditions

Inclusive 21 % taxes and service charges.
Inclusive daily breakfast and afternoon tea.
Shuttle service to Ubud.
Airport transfers will be organized. US$ 45.00/way/car.

Terms of payment

	50 % deposit to guarantee booking.
	Balance is due eight weeks prior to arrival date. If booking are made within eight weeks of arrival, the full amount is due as soon as the booking confirmation has been received by the guest.

Cancellation

50 % of total amount up to 90 days prior to arrival.
100% of total amount within 60 days of arrival or less.
